Frank Wightman - Engineer and Millwright ExtraordinaryAuthor: NMESDo you know the marvellous engine collection at the Greater Manchester Museum? All running and in beautiful condition? All these engines were rescued from demolition experts in the 1960s. Frank Wightman was responsible for most of the actual rescue work. In this booklet, the NMES and former Museum Director Richard Hills write an appreciation of Frank's work. A great memorial for a great man. This is really inspiring reading! |
